Quotable

"The Scripture says, 'What would it profit a man if he gained the world but lost his own soul (Matt. 16:26).'  This verse sums up what is of paramount importance in teaching a child as they grow into adulthood.  While it is important to have high academic standards, it is equally important to train up children in the way they should go spiritually in order that they may face the challenges before them as maturing young adults.  This is at the heart of Christian education.  Personally this means that I must do my utmost to teach the children all they need to know so they will be successful in life both spiritually and academically.  I believe we must prepare for eternity not only for our short lives here on earth.  I am privileged to have a part in training young children.  As I endeavor each day to make my lessons interesting, meaningful, and challenging, I also know it is important to show God’s love to the children helping them to understand His unique love for each of them as individuals while teaching them to seek His purpose for their lives."
